Divided into four sections with ideas for activities using movement, props, sitting and instruments, the Toddler Songbook can be used for classes, preschool music or at home. The songs are for adults to sing to children and for children to respond to with the basic responses of pulse and gross motor movements. Once children are able to sing some of the simpler songs, it’s time to move on to DaCapo Songbook 1.
The accompanying CD runs for 33 minutes. The running order has been chosen for the variety of instruments and character of the songs.
